Core Curriculum Areas


The curriculum contents of the programmes throughout Europe are expected to include a range of disciplines or content. The content should ensure that students are exposed to a fully modern and comprehensive public health curriculum.

The Core areas outlined in the table are derived by research conducted through an ASPHER working group on core competencies. This work outlines a series of competencies which are associated with each of the core areas. The document can be downloaded here and also found on the research pages.
